Displace – an in-home entertainment startup – announced it will debut the world’s first truly wireless TV, Displace 55″ 4K TV, at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. Displace aim to solve familiar problems in a flat-screen television – often bulky, tiresome to mount to walls and force damage, cluttered with wires, and utilize antiquated remote controls. Displace offers a wireless TV that is super light, transportable, and can be used with multiple Displace TVs to form any sized TV.

A Displace 55″ 4K TV weighs less than 20 lbs. and attaches and sticks to the wall or surface with Displace’s active-loop vacuum technology, with no mounting needed. When multiple TVs are connected, the user can remove a rechargeable battery from a TV while connected TVs remain fully operational with the hot-swappable battery system. Each Displace TV averages around a month of battery life for an average use of six hours of active TV time per day.

Founder and CEO Balaji Krishnan said, “Displace completely reinvents the television with its hardware and software technology, and user interfaces that will change how people enjoy entertainment in their homes and advance the entire television industry. We envision a world with multiple displays on walls delivering significant value to consumers wherever they are inside their homes. To achieve this vision, it’s important to re-architect television by eliminating all common frustrations and making it extremely easy to secure televisions on any surface inside homes. By realizing this vision, Displace is creating the next computing platform, and the potential applications are limitless.”

The user can control Displace TV by hand gesture movements – in addition to touch and voice interfaces – making it comfortable to browse and play. When placed in multiple rooms, Displace TVs utilize facial recognition and computer vision technology to track users and switch contents when users move between rooms. The user can turn this option by pressing a button on top of the Displace TV for privacy reasons. All Displace TVs wirelessly connect to a base unit plugged into an electrical outlet and can be kept anywhere within the home.

The 55″ 4K Displace TVs can be hung throughout a home or combined to form multiple sizes, including a massive 110″ 16K television. Displace will showcase this product at CES 2023 with the schedules follow:
