The ‘AIR FAIR 2022’ – International Air Industry Fair (hereinafter referred to as AIR FAIR 2022), co-hosted by the Korea Air Cleaning Association and K-Fairs and officially sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, was held at COEX C Hall on the 15th (Thurs).
The ‘Air Fair 2022’ held till the 17th (Sat.), is a fair where preventive measures and environmental improvement solutions to solve fundamental problems of improving the atmospheric environment and the indoor air quality can be shared as interest in fine dust and indoor air quality continues to rise.
During this fair, many equipment and appliances related to fine dust and the air industry such as green home appliances, fine dust reduction and decontamination systems, ways to measure, measuring instruments, zero-carbon system, heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC), fine dust management supplies, eco-friendly vehicles, protective equipment etc. were presented.
Additionally, major air industry brands such as LG Electronics, Innofiltech, Gyeongdong Navien, Cheongho Nice, Himpel, and Cesco will all participate in this event, showcasing a massive lineup of new air home appliance products.
Concurrent events such as the 13th Air Day ceremony, the 6th annual Korea Air Cleaning Symposium, technology seminars of participating companies, and the Air Fair Awards were prepared. In particular, awards in five different categories were awarded : AIR INNOVATION – Himpel, AIR DESIGN – LG Electronics, AIR TECHNOLOGY – Naom, AIR ANTI POLLUTION – Eunsung Chemical, and AIR PIONEER – MADI. In addition, new product and technology presentations of participating companies were held in the seminar room within the exhibition hall,
Various events were also presented. The biggest prize event ever, including LG Electronics PuriCare 360, Coway Noble Air Purifier and Air Cartridge Air Purifier, Cuckoo Inspure Brick and Inspure Ultra, Kyowon Wells Tornado, DK MINI AIR, Innofiltech’s Mask, Lairpur’s oxygen can, was prepared.
The organizers said, “As the risk of fine dust has come to the forefront, interest in not only atmospheric environment but also in indoor air quality has risen, and the demand for information on new products and technologies related to air purification, ventilation / air conditioning, and other related fields is increasing. We plan on attracting the attention of highly interested air industry-related professionals, school and public facility managers by introducing related products and technology. Furthermore, the diverse and abundant prize event that includes the latest air purifiers will also provide another enjoyment to many visitors interested in fine dust.”
The AIR FAIR 2022 was hosted by the Korea Air Cleaning Association and K- Fairs and supported by the Ministry of Environment, Korean Society for Indoor Environment, Korean Society of Atmospheric Environment, Korean Association For Particle and Aerosol Research, The Society of Air-conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers of Korea, The Environment Daily News.
