Hosted by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency and organized by Korea Safety Equipment Association, Korea International Safety & Health Show 2021 (KISS 2021) kicked off on July 5 (Mon) at Hall 8 of the Ilsan KINTEX 2.
This exhibition where visitors can see safety and health products of Korea and overseas at a glance will be held for four days, July 5-8.
As the Severe Accident Punishment Act will come into effect in January 2022, interest in corporate safety and health is growing significantly. Reflecting this atmosphere, this exhibition will provide an opportunity to check the latest technologies and new products in the field of safety and health at a glance.
About 120 companies related to safety and health products from home and abroad will participate in this exhibition. The venue has been moved from COEX to KINTEX this time. Also with a scale of 470 booths, more than 10,000 new products and new technologies covering safety, health, construction, work environment improvement, environment, sanitation, quarantine, firefighting, and other safety-related fields like protective gear, will be exhibited.
Interest in quarantine products is continuing to rise due to prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and as the safety and health responsibilities of companies are strengthened with the enforcement of the Severe Accident Punishment Act, many buyers and visitors are expected to visit.
A staff from the exhibition secretariat said, “The interest in safety and health products from front-line companies is high as the Severe Accident Punishment Act will be enforced from next year along with interest in quarantine products due to the prolonged COVID-19. Through this exhibition, we will demonstrate the excellence of the latest safety and health products and do our best to make the exhibition a stage that can contribute to the prevention of industrial accidents.”
